If you are looking for a quick, easy, reliable way to get full control of your Android device from your PC, this guide will show you how. Your phone or tablet screen will be mirrored to your PC monitor and you will have full control access using your mouse and keyboard.

There are dozens of different ways you can connect Android devices to your PC and take control of them. Generally, to get this kind of access and function, you will first have to install third-party apps on your mobile device and in some cases have your device rooted. Although these methods work pretty good, there’s a better way to get full uncompromised access.

All you need to start using this method is a computer, Android device, and a USB cable that will allow file transfers between the devices. If you have a charge only cable, it won’t be sufficient for this process. Generally, the cable that came with your device from purchase will allow you to do both.

To start the process, you will first have to enable Developer Options on your Android device. To do this, go to Setting >About>Software Information> More, then tap Build Number 7 times.

Note: Depending on your version of Android the path to this location may vary a little, so if you get lost, Google Developer Options for your particular device. The above process hasn’t really changed since Android 6.0 however.

Now that you have Developer Options enabled on your device, go back to the main Settings page and tap on it. Inside the Developer Options section scroll down and Enable USB Debugging. Once you have done this, your device is set up and ready. The next step is to configure Windows.

How to Control Android Devices From Windows Without Apps or Root. (Windows Setup Component)

To begin you will need to download two different zip files which will allow your computer to communicate with your Android device.

Note:The below guide has been composed for versions 1.1 and 1.2, however, versions 1.3 and onwards are far easier to set up.

Once you have both of these ZIP files on your computer, unzip platform-tools-latest-windows into its own folder, then enter the folder. Next, connect your phone to your computer and make sure it is set to allow File Transfers.

When your phone is connected, go back to the platform-tools folder, highlight the File Explorer address, replace the address with cmd, then press Enter. This will open a command window set to this location.

In this command window, enter the following command adb devices. This will search and allow Windows to find and connect to your Android device. (Sometimes you may have to enter the command more than once if it first comes up as unauthorized.) Once your device has been found, you can close the command window.

Next, unzip scrcpy-windows-with-deps-v1.0 and copy all of its contents into the platform-tools folder, making sure to overwrite all files when asked.

Once you have done this, the process is complete. Now you can double-click on the scrcpy.exe file to open your Android device on your computer. Congratulations, you now have full access to your Android device from your PC.

If you would like to make a shortcut to use elsewhere on your PC, your Desktop, for example, right-click the scrcpy.exe, select Create Shortcut, then move it to your desired location.

Once everything has been configured, each and every time you connect your device to your computer Windows will automatically recognize it. Just remember that you must have USB debugging and File Transfer enabled on your device. Some phone models won’t show navigation buttons on the bottom of the screen (if your device has physical buttons) if this is the case on your device, the ESC key on your keyboard works as a backward arrow, while the Home key works as a return to the home screen button.

I don't think its possible. At least not on the current version of Android. Perhaps Android Pie might allow some different options. The closest thing I have seen are apps that allow you to use your phone as a webcam.
