Beware!!! I signed up in July of 2017 for a free trial. Wasn’t satisfied enough with it to pay the monthly fee, so I cancelled. I noticed on my next bank statement that I was charged a monthly fee. So I called once again to cancel. By this time my “significant other” and I had separated and since the phone account was in his name, he changed the account access code and had my phone service shut off, and I was informed by the representative that they couldn’t cancel the service even though the fees because I was no longer authorized on HIS account. But that didn’t stop them from withdrawing the fees from my bank account! Not his. Long story short, here it is October 2018, and after several phone calls and my informing the TeenSafe representatives that they were no longer authorized to take money from my bank account, they are still taking money from my account!!
Can they block my number and disable the app?
Hello. So I know you have to download on target phone but I don’t want my child to know, so will it work inside an app hider? I don’t want any trace of it being on there, is that possible? Like stealth mode or whatever I’m new to this myself
There are a few problems in my opinion with teen safe and their business practices. First, the trial only gives you a small snapshot of what’s being monitored and it’s information from a year ago. Secondly, when I upgraded paying $14.95 to see what it can actually do it wasn’t for me. It doesn’t prevent anything from happening. You can only see what has happened after your child has downloaded or gone to a site or after something was said. When I called this morning, July 3, 2018 they refused to refund my money. I had only had it for less than 48 hours. So I didn’t want this to happen to any other parent so I am putting this warning out.

Call times and phone numbers are logged, but there is no recording of the call. My experience with my daughter’s droid phone is that if the location services are turned off, the phone’s GPS is disabled and it will not know its location, so it will not report or track it.
Can this be activated without having to take my child’s phone to do it?
Hi Amy, Im still new to this but you need your child’s phone to set the account up. I actually talked with my 13 year old and set it up with him, letting him know that this is what I was doing to protect him, not necessarily spy on him plus it can help your child to locate their phone if lost. My biggest thing is to figure out how to get into the snap chat account which seems to be the main source of communicating.
